Our annual Flower Show & Fete is held in the delightful setting of Pilcot Farm, Dogmersfield.

Entry to the Show is free to members and all classes of membership are eligible to provide exhibits for the Show (see Show Rules).

Entry to the show for non-members is £5/head with under-16s free.

Copies of the Show Schedule are distributed to all households within the villages of Dogmersfeld, Winchfield, and Crookham Village. A copy of the Schedule is also delivered to each Member living outside the three villages.

The Schedule is issued during late April/early May each year and the Show is usually held in July. Spare hard copies of the Schedule can be obtained by contacting one of our committee members.

An Exhibitor’s Entry Form is included in each edition of the Schedule. If you think you would like to try your hand at any of the Show Classes, please have a look at the Show Rules.

In addition to the Flower Show, there is a traditional village fête during the afternoon. There are plenty of stalls to browse and a very interesting selection of craft skills are on show in the Craft Tent.

Each year there is a different Arena Event; in 2016 there was a sheepdog & geese display and a local Morris Dancing group to entertain us.

When you feel in need of some refreshment, there is a tea tent with delicious home-made cakes to tempt you.

For those with young children there are plenty of attractions including a traditional Punch & Judy show, farm animals, and birds of prey to admire. If the children have any energy left, they can take part in the arena games and tug-of-war!

'We also hold a free-to-enter car & motor-bike show, with the emphasis on older vehicles, frequently getting up to 50 vehicles attending.

All this takes place with a wonderful brass band playing in the background.

The afternoon finishes with prize-giving and a raffle.

After the Show has finished, we clear the large marquee and set it up for the evening Barn Dance - a splendid way to end the day. Everyone is welcome to attend the Barn Dance - there will be a live band to entertain us. Tickets can be obtained either in advance by contacting our chairman or on the day of the Show at the Enquiries Desk.
